The son of Camille Pissarro, the famous impressionist painter, Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro was a talented landscape painter and printmaker who exhibited both at the Salon des Independants and at numerous galleries in Paris and London during his career. After initial instruction from his father, Rodo Pissarro went on to develop his own very individual style of landscape painting which stressed water themes and landscapes with figures. His best work is marked by a fluidity of paint and delicate atmospheric effects. His works can be found in numerous museum collections throughout France.
Museum Collections include:
The Ashmolean Museum, Great Britain.
